Hamza Illyas of Pakistan Triumphs Over Indian Opponent in World U21 Snooker Championship

In his second group match, the 17-year-old emerged victorious against 12-year-old Aravuu Sancheti from India with a score of 3-1. Despite losing the first set on a tie ball, Hamza displayed an impressive comeback, winning the following three sets. Notably, in the final frame, he achieved a break of 50 points.

In his first game, Hamza secured a win against Umar al-Fahdal from Iraq. These back-to-back wins have propelled him to the next round of the Championship. Tomorrow, Hamza will face off against Fabian Heikken from Germany in his final match.

Meanwhile, Ahsan Ramzan, another Pakistani player, is scheduled to play all three of his group matches tomorrow. It’s worth mentioning that Ramzan recently claimed the title of the Asian Under-21 Snooker Championship in Iran.
