Hundreds of thousands of Muslim pilgrims from all over the world gathered in Maidan-e-Arafat on Tuesday to conduct the Rukn-e-Azam of Hajj “Waqoof-e-Arafat,” the Hajj’s climax.

Sheikh Dr Yousaf bin Muhammad bin Saeed, who delivered the sermon from Masjid-e-Nimra, exhorted Muslims to maintain harmony and brotherhood among themselves.

He went on to say that all Muslims are like one body, and when one portion of the body hurts, the agony is felt throughout the body. In his Hajj lecture, Sheikh Dr Yousaf advised Muslims to show unity, behave nicely, and avoid confrontations.

“On the day of judgement, only those with good manners will be near the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him).”

“The testimony that only Allah is to be worshipped, as well as the testimony that Muhammad (PBUH) is Allah’s messenger.”

Sheikh Dr Yousaf went on to say in his Hajj Sermon that all Muslims must appreciate and value mankind. “Success is found in fearing Allah Almighty and obeying his commands.”

He claimed that Allah has commanded Muslims to continue praying and giving zakat to the poor.

Sheikh Yousaf asked Muslims to worship so that Almighty Allah could observe them.

After Azaan-e-Maghrib, the pilgrims will depart for Muzdalifah, where they will combine Maghrib and Isha prayers and spend the night beneath the open sky. Pilgrims would also pick pebbles from Muzdalifah to toss at Satin the next morning.

After performing Fajr Prayer at Muzdalifah, they will depart for Mina to complete the remaining Hajj ceremonies.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
