This expansion intends to reach a broader audience with a message of moderation and tolerance, as desired by Saudi Arabia’s government.
The translation initiative is part of the Translation Project for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, which is carrying out critical tasks. Ahmed Al-Hamidi, the Deputy General President for Languages and Translation, stated that this translation effort aligns with the agency’s strategic plan for 2024.

French, English, Persian, Urdu, Hausa, Russian, Turkish, Punjabi, Chinese, Malay, Swahili, Spanish, Portuguese, Amharic, German, Swedish, Italian, Malayalam, Bosnian, and Filipino will all hear the Arafat Day sermon.
The sermon will be streamed on multiple platforms, including the digital platform Manarat Al-Haramain, The Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet channels, and 10 FM radio stations. During the Hajj journey, the speech will be widely distributed in order to reach a diverse worldwide audience.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
