[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has issued directives to ensure continuous power supply throughout Ramadan, particularly during Sehr and Iftar times.
In response to this directive, Khurram Dastagir, Minister of Power, has directed electricity supply companies to ensure continuous power supply during these critical times.
To facilitate Taraweeh prayers, the minister has also directed DISCOs to implement a “zero-load management” policy before and after one hour of Sehr, as well as to ensure power supply before and after one hour of Iftar and after three hours of Iftar.

Power companies have been directed to form special teams at the division and sub-division levels to deal with power-related issues during Ramadan.
Meanwhile, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet today in Peshawar to observe the Ramadan crescent. The meeting will be presided over by the committee’s chairman, Moulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabeer Azad, and will take place in the Auqaf Department’s building.
The zonal and district Ruet-e-Hilal committees will meet in their respective offices as well. The Islamabad committee will meet in the Ministry of Religious Affairs building.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
