The official statement was issued through the ministry’s designated account on Monday, stating that Hajj pilgrims are no longer obligated to provide proof of coronavirus vaccination.
It’s worth noting that the ministry commenced the acceptance of Hajj applications last month, and the process will continue until December 12. The Saudi government has allocated a quota of 179,000 seats for Pakistan this year.

According to the government scheme, 89,605 individuals are set to perform Hajj next year. Notably, women have been conditionally granted permission to participate in Hajj without the need for a mehram for the first time.
However, during the initial six days of the application period, only 7,000 pilgrims applied for the sacred journey. Additionally, despite the allocation of 25,000 slots for the sponsorship Hajj scheme, the government received a mere 400 applications.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
