[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Google has begun putting out a patch to address overheating and battery drain issues reported by numerous Pixel customers worldwide.
The issue was first brought to light by Pixel users on Reddit, who were mostly using Pixel 6 and 7 devices. The Google app looked to be the primary culprit, with very high background usage as evidenced by battery data. Some gadgets were also overheating as a result of this.
Following an examination, Google concluded that the fundamental cause of the problem was a backend modification to the Google app. The presently deployed patch fixes this issue, resolving the reported concerns.
It’s worth mentioning that Google’s announcement may have created the impression that the issue affected all Android devices, rather than only Pixels. However, there have been no widespread reports of this issue from users of other Android devices.
The mentioned difficulties appear to have been rectified as of today. If you own a Pixel device and are experiencing the aforementioned issues, the new update should arrive immediately as there is no user activity required for it to function.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
