On Friday, the price of gold in Pakistan increased by Rs. 1,000 per tola, following a decrease of Rs. 2,300 per tola the previous day. According to data from the Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of 24-carat gold rose by Rs. 1,000 per tola to reach Rs. 251,500, while the price for 10 grams went up by Rs. 858 to Rs. 215,621.

Gold prices also saw a rise in the international market, with spot gold increasing by 0.3 percent to $2,370.5 per ounce as of 1110 GMT. However, it is important to note that international gold prices have fallen by 4.5 percent since reaching a record high of $2,483.60 on July 17. Locally, gold prices peaked at an all-time high of Rs. 254,000 per tola last week, marking a rise of Rs. 4,600 per tola.
