LAHORE – The Punjab government has introduced a new plot allotment scheme for civil service officers, Provincial Management Service (PMS) officers, and police service personnel. The government has secured land near the Kala Khatai Road interchange of the motorway, where plots of two kanals, one kanal, and 10 marlas will be allocated to eligible officers.
The scheme will allocate 30 percent of the plots to Pakistan Administrative Service and PMS officers, 10 percent to police officers, and 30 percent to X-cadre officials. Officers in Grade 21 and 22 will be eligible for two-kanal plots. The Planning and Development (P&D) department has released the application form for this scheme.

Plot Prices and Payment Plan:

Free Flats for Workers:
Earlier this month, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced the construction of hundreds of free flats in Taxila and Sunder labor colonies to enhance workers’ living conditions.
This decision came from a high-level meeting aimed at improving workers’ welfare. CM Maryam Nawaz reviewed the Labor Department’s performance and received updates on initiatives like worker scholarships, labor colonies, and healthcare programs. The Chief Minister underscored the government’s commitment to labor rights, including labor law reforms, improved occupational safety, and stringent enforcement of minimum wage standards.
