Gold Prices in Pakistan Edge Closer to All-Time High

Gold prices in Pakistan are reaching record highs following a significant increase the previous day, with another hike reported on Thursday. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs700 per tola, bringing it to Rs277,900. Similarly, the price of 10-gram 24-karat gold increased by Rs600, now standing at Rs238,254.

Globally, gold prices are also on the rise, with an increase of $7 during the day. The international gold price is currently at $2,682 per ounce.

In contrast to the upward trend in gold prices, the silver market has remained stable, with the price of silver holding steady at Rs3,050 per tola.

Last month, gold prices in Pakistan had already surged to a record high of Rs277,000 per tola, driven by significant gains in the international market.
