KARACHI – On Thursday, gold prices in Pakistan experienced a decline following a drop in global prices. According to data from the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs2,300, settling at Rs250,500. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs1,972, reaching Rs214,763. In the international market, the price of gold dropped by $43, ending at $2,370 per ounce. This global decline has mirrored the trends observed in the local market.

Additionally, silver prices also saw reductions in Pakistan. The per tola price of silver decreased by Rs60, settling at Rs2,860, while the price for 10 grams of silver dropped by Rs2,451.98. This decrease in gold prices follows a recent surge, where the per tola gold price had increased by Rs2,300, reaching Rs252,800, and the price for 10 grams had risen by Rs1,972 to settle at Rs216,735.
