Gold Prices Experience Weekly Fluctuations in Pakistan

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]The price of gold in Pakistan experienced a slight decline on Saturday, reaching Rs. 222,800 per tola at the end of the week. According to data from the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the cost of 24-carat gold increased by Rs. 1,000 per tola to reach Rs. 222,800, while the price of 10 grams rose by Rs. 85, closing at Rs. 191,015.

Throughout the week, the price of gold exhibited fluctuations. It rose by Rs. 1,600 per tola on Monday, followed by a substantial increase of Rs. 6,200 per tola on Tuesday. On Wednesday, it rose by Rs. 5,400 per tola. However, Thursday saw a decline of Rs. 5,300 per tola, before increasing again by Rs. 1,800 per tola on Friday.

Although there was a minor dip on Saturday, the overall trend during the week showed an increase of Rs. 9,600 per tola in the price of gold.

After reaching a record high of Rs. 240,000 per tola on May 10, the price of gold had been on a declining trend until July 12, when it reached Rs. 204,000 per tola. However, since July 12, the price of gold has witnessed a significant rise, increasing by nearly Rs. 19,000 per tola.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
