Gold Jumps to Rs536,562 Per Tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward march on February 24, 2026, amid volatility in the international bullion market. The price of 24 karat gold per tola surged to Rs536,562, reflecting strong global momentum and persistent local demand.

For 10 grams, the rate settled at Rs460,015, increasing pressure on buyers and investors already navigating record-high levels. Market dealers attributed the surge to sharp gains in the global market combined with currency fluctuations.

The latest increase marks a Rs3,700 jump per tola compared to the previous session. Over the past week, prices have shown significant swings, highlighting a roller coaster trend in both domestic and international trading activity.

During the week, gold stood at Rs533,562 on February 21 and Rs526,462 on February 20. Earlier, it was recorded at Rs516,062 on February 18 and Rs523,762 on February 16, reflecting rapid fluctuations within days.

Other variants also moved upward. The price of 22 karat gold per tola reached Rs482,808.33, while 21 karat was priced at Rs460,862.50 and 18 karat at Rs395,025.00. Per 10 grams, 22K gold was available at Rs413,939.17, 21K at Rs395,123.75, and 18K at Rs338,677.50.

Globally, bullion markets witnessed a strong rally as gold prices climbed by $30 to reach $5,138 per ounce, including a $20 premium. The international surge directly fueled the sharp domestic gains, keeping traders and investors on alert for further volatility.

Silver prices also followed the bullish trend. The price of silver jumped by Rs146, reaching Rs9,094 per tola, adding to the momentum in precious metals trading across the country.
