FPSC Exam Results Only 2 Candidates Clear Selection Process

The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced the results for the Section Officer (BS-18) examination in the Office Management Group (OMG). Out of 20 advertised posts, only two candidates were declared successful. The remaining 18 positions remain unfilled.

According to FPSC, a total of 99 applications were received for the examination. However, 82 candidates did not appear for the test. Only 17 candidates attended the written examination stage.

The results show that three candidates initially qualified the written exam. Of these, one candidate, Ahmed Hussain Soomro (Roll No. 1), failed to clear the interview stage. Eventually, Haroon Arshad Mian (Roll No. 11) and Asad Hussain (Roll No. 7) were declared successful after completing all stages of selection.

Meanwhile, four candidates failed the written test, while the results of 10 candidates were withheld due to rejected applications. This left only two candidates meeting the final selection criteria.

FPSC officials noted that the strict selection process ensures only qualified candidates are appointed to federal posts. With the 18 remaining vacancies, the commission may consider re-advertising the positions or conducting a fresh recruitment process.

The FPSC examination process includes multiple stages, such as the written test and interview, to evaluate the competency of applicants. Candidates are advised to monitor FPSC’s official notifications for updates on future recruitment opportunities.

The outcome underscores the competitive nature of federal examinations and the high standards set by FPSC for filling government positions. Despite the large number of applications, only candidates meeting all requirements can secure appointment.
