A tragic incident unfolded at the Liaquat Bagh Metro Station when a four-year-old child, Rehan, lost his life after being crushed by a metro bus. The incident occurred as Rehan, a resident of Amarpura, was deboarding the bus with his mother. While the bus had come to a stop, Rehan, who was holding his mother’s hand, slipped and fell onto the metro track. Before anyone could react, the bus driver began moving the bus again, tragically running over the child.

The bus driver fled the scene immediately after the incident, and metro administration officials were reported to be absent. Police from Waris Khan Station responded swiftly and have initiated an investigation into the incident, ensuring that those responsible are held accountable.
