FoodAg Manufacturing '25 Revolutionizing Pakistan's Food Manufacturing Industry

Pakistan’s food industry is set for a transformative boost with the launch of FoodAg Manufacturing ’25, the country’s first event of its kind, taking place at the Expo Centre in Lahore from February 26 to 28, 2025. Organized by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), the exhibition aims to revolutionize food manufacturing by showcasing global innovations, cutting-edge technologies, and smarter solutions.

Despite Pakistan’s impressive agricultural standing—ranked 10th globally thanks to its rich farmlands, diverse crops, and thriving livestock sector—food processing and manufacturing have traditionally relied on conventional methods. However, new technological advancements are now paving the way for modernized production techniques in the sector.

FoodAg Manufacturing ’25 will bring together key stakeholders from the international food and agriculture sectors, offering a platform for innovation, collaboration, and business growth. The event will feature expert-led seminars, B2B networking, and over 35 international exhibitors from countries such as China, South Korea, Turkey, and Italy, who will demonstrate the latest advancements in agro-food production and packaging.

Key highlights include dedicated pavilions from South Korea and China, which will display state-of-the-art technologies and sustainable solutions. Additionally, the event will showcase Pakistan’s own agro-food industry, with 107 national companies and 24 packaging firms presenting the country’s potential to global markets.

The exhibition promises to be a game-changer by introducing the latest global advancements directly to Pakistan. It will spotlight innovations in smart farming, automation, enhanced food safety, and sustainable processing techniques, as well as modern packaging, logistics, and food-handling solutions designed to reduce waste and boost productivity. These developments are expected to translate into higher profits, improved product quality, and expanded access to international markets for Pakistani businesses.

A particularly exciting feature of the event is the newly introduced ‘Hall of Fame,’ which will celebrate breakthrough innovations in food processing and manufacturing. This dedicated space will feature leading international companies and industry experts, offering Pakistani businesses direct exposure to global expertise. The Hall of Fame is also expected to become a vital networking hub, connecting local manufacturers with national and international investors, partners, and technology providers.

Another key component of the event is the Food Summit segment, where industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers will discuss the future of food production. Topics such as AI-driven processing, sustainability, food safety, and smart agriculture will be explored through expert talks, panel discussions, and networking sessions, offering valuable insights on modernizing the food sector, reducing waste, and boosting exports.

While Pakistan’s food exports have already reached a record $8.3 billion in 2023-24, the country has only begun to tap into its full potential. Enhanced manufacturing and smarter food processing techniques could significantly increase its global market share. FoodAg Manufacturing ’25 is poised to bridge the gap between traditional practices and modern production, positioning Pakistan as a key player in the international food industry.

Hosting the event in Lahore—Pakistan’s agricultural and industrial hub—amplifies its impact. Over the three-day event, industry pioneers, global manufacturers, and policymakers will converge to explore opportunities in agri-tech, mechanization, and sustainability-driven solutions. More than just an exhibition, this event represents a turning point that could redefine the future of food manufacturing in Pakistan, setting the stage for a new era where the country’s food industry not only keeps pace with global trends but potentially leads the way.
