Five terrorists killed in Waziristan intel-based

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]According to a statement released by the military on Friday, security forces engaged in intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in the districts of North and South Waziristan resulted in the deaths of at least five terrorists.

 

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that a substantial amount of equipment, as well as weapons and ammunition, were retrieved from the terrorists who were slain.

 

The ISPR added that the army was resolutely committed to eradicating the threat of terrorism from every square inch of our soil.

In the past three months, Pakistan’s security services have carried out several operations against terrorism around the nation, arresting terrorists and their facilitators while also thwarting a number of attacks.

 

In the past three months, more than 150 terrorists have been slain by security personnel as efforts to eradicate terrorism from the nation continue. In the last three months, security personnel conducted 6,921 operations around the nation, arresting at least 1,007 terrorists.

 

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa saw the conduct of 1,960 operations, of which 1,516 were area-domination operations, 301 were based on intelligence, and 143 were area-sanitization operations.

Security forces’ actions resulted in the deaths of 98 terrorists and the arrests of 540 others in K-P.
