First Teaser Trailer For Call of Duty, Black Ops 6 Becomes Viral

Ahead of its official launch, Activision’s highly anticipated Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 released its first teaser trailer on Wednesday. The trailer depicts a nocturnal espionage mission aimed at defacing Mt. Rushmore in the United States with the phrase “The Truth Lies,” as reported by a gaming website.

Presented on an old TV set with six channels, the teaser trailer hints at the game’s title with additional buttons for playback controls. However, only the first channel displays the teaser, leaving the other five channels devoid of any signals. This vintage TV setup further fuels speculation that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 may be set during the Gulf War.

Rumors circulate that Microsoft, now the owner of Activision Blizzard, plans to unveil the release date for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 directly on Game Pass in June.

The most recent installment in the Call of Duty series, Modern Warfare III, released last year, failed to generate significant traction among players.
