First Hajj Flight to Depart for Saudi Arabia on May 1

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that the first Hajj flight will depart for Saudi Arabia on May 1. The operation will span over 30 days, concluding on May 30. The full flight schedule is expected to be released by April 10, providing further details for the pilgrims.

Five airlines will take part in this year’s Hajj operation, including Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and Saudi Airlines. These airlines will facilitate the journey of thousands of pilgrims to the holy sites in Saudi Arabia.

Approximately 89,000 Pakistani pilgrims will embark on the pilgrimage under the government scheme, while the total number of Pakistani pilgrims expected to perform Hajj this year is 179,210.

This large-scale operation marks a significant event for the Muslim community, as preparations are underway to ensure a smooth and successful pilgrimage for the travelers.
