Meanwhile, a convoy of over 65 vehicles, loaded with essential food supplies, has been dispatched from Tal. After successful negotiations on the previous night, protesters in Mandory opened the route, allowing the convoy to pass.
Local leaders, including Haji Sharif, Habib Rehman, and other tribal elders, took responsibility for ensuring the safety of the convoy on personal, tribal, and humanitarian grounds. According to official sources, the successful negotiations between the government and the Grand Jirga at the Chupari Rest House played a key role in ensuring the safe travel of the convoy.
Following the talks, Jirga members guaranteed the safety of the passengers and goods. It is important to note that the closure of the main road in Kurram district had led to shortages of essential services and medicines, severely affecting the public.
