[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]SWAT: At least one student was killed and six others were injured in Swat district’s Sangota village on Tuesday.

According to police sources, the tragedy occurred when a police officer stationed at the private school opened fire by ‘accident’.

The accused has been arrested, and an investigation is currently underway. Following the shooting, there was a stampede on the school grounds.

The injured were taken to a nearby hospital and are receiving medical attention.

Previously, a school van driver was killed and two students were injured when their vehicle was attacked by unidentified gunmen in the village of Guli Bagh in the Swat district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P).

According to officials, the attackers were waiting on a motorbike and attacked the van as it passed. They fled unnoticed shortly after the attack.
