Film Festival to Celebrate Kareena Kapoor Khan’s 25 Years in Bollywood

To celebrate Bollywood icon Kareena Kapoor Khan’s 25 years in the film industry, a multi-city film festival is reportedly being planned, honoring her remarkable career. The festival will feature screenings of some of her most celebrated performances, bringing her iconic roles back to the big screen.

Kareena, one of Indian cinema’s most celebrated actresses, recently starred in The Buckingham Murders, which also marked her debut as a producer. The crime thriller, released on September 13, 2024, has received attention for its intense storyline. In the film, Kareena plays detective Jasmeet Bhamra, who takes on a challenging child abduction case.

On release day, Kareena shared behind-the-scenes glimpses and expressed her pride in the film, stating on Instagram, “As an actor, it’s the choices one makes… And I am very proud of this choice.”

Directed by Hansal Mehta and co-starring Ranveer Brar, Ash Tandon, and Zain Hussain, The Buckingham Murders has added another significant milestone to her career. Fans are also eagerly anticipating her upcoming role in Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty and scheduled for release during Diwali 2024.
