FIFA President Gianni Infantino has accepted an invitation to visit Pakistan after meeting with Interior Minister and PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi in Washington, DC.
Their meeting centered on Pakistan’s sports potential and the country’s growing enthusiasm for football. Naqvi, actively involved in restoring football governance in Pakistan, described the discussion as productive, adding that Infantino showed keen interest in visiting soon.

Infantino’s visit is expected to boost FIFA’s engagement with Pakistan as it rebuilds its football infrastructure following administrative challenges. FIFA lifted its suspension on the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) earlier this year after necessary constitutional reforms were approved, allowing Pakistan to rejoin international football competitions.
