Earlier, private institutions in Islamabad were also granted winter vacations. The Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority stated that private schools and colleges would remain closed from December 21 to January 5, resuming activities on January 6.
The winter break provides students, parents, and teachers a well-deserved rest during the cold season, offering time to recharge before resuming academic activities.
For public and private schools nationwide, vacations began on December 23 and will continue until January 11. District Education Authority (DEA) officials have been instructed to ensure compliance with the vacation schedule.
