Federal Cabinet Expands as Three New Ministers Take Oath

Federal Cabinet Expansion Completed with Swearing-In of Three New Ministers

The federal cabinet expansion has been finalized with the induction of three new ministers, bringing the total number of cabinet members to 54.

At a ceremony held at the Presidency, Acting President Yousaf Raza Gilani administered the oath to the newly appointed ministers.

Newly Appointed Ministers and Their Portfolios:

  • Pir Imran Ahmed Shah – Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection
  • Chaudhry Armaghan Subhani – Minister of State for Planning and Development
  • Dr. Shuzra Mansab – Minister of State for Climate Change

Current Composition of the Federal Cabinet:

  • 31 Federal Ministers
  • 11 Ministers of State
  • 4 Advisers
  • 8 Special Assistants
