JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman declared on Wednesday that Pakistan’s defense will never be compromised.
Speaking on the occasion of Youm-e-Takbeer, Fazl highlighted Pakistan’s distinction as the first nuclear power in the Islamic world.

He said, “The establishment of Pakistan was made possible through the sacrifices of millions of Muslims. Achieving nuclear capability in the name of Islam is both a great honour and a profound responsibility.”
Rehman stressed the importance of Pakistan raising a strong voice in support of oppressed Muslims worldwide, especially those in Palestine.
He reaffirmed his commitment to continuing the struggle to transform Pakistan into an Islamic welfare state
