Fake Pak Army Major arrested with huge amount of drugs outside PAF Academy.

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Narcotics Control and Excise Taxation On Sunday, Mardan conducted an operation in Nowshera and apprehended a fake Pakistan Army Major dressed in official Pakistan Army uniform who was smuggling a large number of drugs.

The accused, identified as Iqbal Ali, son of Farman Ali and a resident of Abbottabad, was apprehended while transporting 60kg of weed worth millions of rupees.

The contraband was concealed in his green number plate vehicle with tinted glasses, which was packed in five sacks.

After receiving a tip about drug smuggling, excise officers set up a picket line on the road.

However, when the suspect noticed the police, he fled. The fake major hit the excise police station’s mobile vehicle while speeding away, causing significant damage to it.

After a long chase, the excise police finally apprehended the culprit near the gate of PAF Academy Risalpur. During the preliminary investigation, the imposter admitted to smuggling drugs into Punjab ten times previously.

A case has been filed against the accused for drug trafficking, causing damage to government property, and defaming the Pakistan Army. The excise officers turned over the accused and the recovered drugs to the appropriate authorities for further legal action.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
