Faisal Vawda claims that Imran Khan had prior knowledge of Arshad Sharif's murder

In a startling revelation, former federal minister and senator Faisal Vawda has accused Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), of having prior knowledge about the murder of journalist Arshad Sharif. Vawda made these serious allegations on Samaa TV’s “Nadeem Malik Live,” claiming that Imran Khan was aware that “something significant” would happen before Sharif’s death on October 23, 2022.

The former PTI leader alleged that Imran Khan had planned a meeting on the day Sharif was killed, hinting at a possible link between the two events. Vawda further claimed that PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur had also forewarned that a major incident was imminent.

Vawda disclosed that in mid-August 2022, Murad Saeed, another PTI member, had informed him of a plan to assassinate Arshad Sharif, a plot that even intelligence agencies were supposedly unaware of at the time. He insisted that he has solid evidence supporting his claims, which he has shared with the show’s producer.

Additionally, Vawda revealed he is conducting a forensic analysis of audio evidence that allegedly implicates key PTI figures, including former military officials Faiz Hameed and Nadeem Anjum, in the case.

He questioned Murad Saeed’s continued disappearance since the incident, suggesting his involvement in the case might be substantial. Vawda predicted that both PTI and Faiz Hameed would eventually face serious legal consequences for their roles in the matter.
