Former Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) Director General Rasheed Solangi has been barred from leaving the country following the launch of an inquiry against him.
Authorities have placed his name on the passport control list to prevent his departure. Solangi, who retired last week after completing his tenure, is accused of approving illegal multi-storey buildings during his time in office.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is currently investigating these unauthorized approvals.
A senior official confirmed, “This action was taken in response to the NAB inquiry concerning the illegal building approvals.”
