[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Tesla CEO Elon Musk said during a shareholder meeting on Tuesday that the company may begin producing advertisements for its products.

For years, the pioneering electric carmaker has expanded primarily through word of mouth, with no traditional advertising. Musk appears to have discovered an appreciation for advertising now that he controls Twitter.

Musk added,

“Twitter is highly dependent on advertising, so here I am, never really used advertising before, and now have a company that’s highly dependent on advertising.” So, I guess I should say that advertising is fantastic and that everyone should do it! We’ll experiment with some advertising and see how it goes.

Musk told CNBC on Tuesday that Tesla will make its advertising content more informative and entertaining in order to reach a wider audience. He stated that advertisements should be “informative” and “ideally aesthetically pleasing.”

Last year, Tesla automobiles were in high demand, but macroeconomic changes in EV production and increased competition may eventually allow the firm to benefit from advertising.

Even though Musk will be replaced as Twitter’s CEO soon, it appears to be an excellent position to launch a Tesla advertising campaign.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
