A local court in Islamabad has approved the post-arrest bail of eight Chinese nationals accused of involvement in an online fraud scheme. The decision was issued on Monday by Judicial Magistrate Abbas Shah at the District and Sessions Courts.
The court accepted their bail applications upon the submission of surety bonds worth Rs100,000 each. The suspects were taken into custody after a case was filed by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) under charges related to cybercrime and financial fraud.

The FIA launched the investigation following a complaint by a woman who alleged she had been scammed through an online platform. Authorities claim the accused were part of a coordinated digital fraud operation.
After hearing arguments from both the prosecution and defense, the magistrate granted bail and instructed the accused to submit the necessary legal sureties.
