The intense tremors occurred at 6:09 am on Saturday and registered 4.6 on the Richter scale, as reported by the National Seismic Monitoring Centre in Islamabad.

According to the center, the earthquake originated from the Hindukush region in Afghanistan, with a depth of 98 kilometers.
