On Saturday, Najeeb Haroon, a founding member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and a former MNA from Karachi, declared his decision to join Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P).

Haroon held meetings with key party figures, including convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Farooq Sattar, and Mustafa Kamal. The confirmation of Haroon’s shift to MQM-P was announced by senior leader Faisal Sabzwari through his official social media account.

In a separate development on Friday, MQM-P observed a notable shift as leaders Raza Haroon and Anees Advocate decided to align themselves with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in anticipation of the upcoming general elections on February 8.
