A mild earthquake shook Sibi and its nearby areas early on Wednesday morning, causing brief alarm among residents. The tremor struck at 1:37 am local time, registering a magnitude of 4.1 on the Richter scale, according to the National Seismological Center in Islamabad.
The earthquake originated at a depth of 35 kilometers, with its epicenter located around 124 kilometers northeast of Sibi. Though the quake was felt across the region, there have been no reports of any significant damage to property or casualties at this time.
