Dubai has introduced a cutting-edge system designed to simplify residency permits, visa renewals, and related transactions, significantly speeding up the entire process.
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) has launched an AI-powered online platform called Salama, which enables residents to renew their own and their family members’ residency permits and visas in minutes directly from their smartphones.
With Salama, users simply log in, choose their desired renewal period, pay the necessary fee, and immediately download updated documents—completely eliminating the need for physical paperwork or visits to service centers.
