Heavy fog has blanketed parts of Punjab, prompting authorities to close several major motorway sections to ensure public safety. Motorway Police spokesperson Syed Imran Ahmed confirmed the closure of the M2 motorway from Thokar Niaz Baig to Babu Sabu, the M3 motorway from Samundri to Darkhana, and the M4 motorway between Shorkot and Gojra. The closures were made due to poor visibility caused by the fog, which is common in Punjab during the winter months.
