Deepika Padukone has acquired a luxury apartment in Bandra, Mumbai, shortly after welcoming her first child with Ranveer Singh. The couple’s baby girl was born on September 8, 2024, and Deepika’s new property is valued at $2.1 million, located on the 15th floor of the Sagar Resham Co-operative Housing Society, offering stunning sea views and situated next to Ranveer’s mother, Anju Bhavnani.

The deal was finalized through Deepika’s company, KA Enterprises LLP, co-owned with her father Prakash Padukone, with a stamp duty of $127,000 and a registration fee of $355. Anju Bhavnani also purchased an adjacent apartment earlier this month for $2.3 million, and Ranveer’s company has leased another nearby property for $9,750 per month.

Bandra is home to many celebrities, including Aamir Khan and K.L. Rahul, making it a popular area for Bollywood stars. Deepika and Ranveer, who married in 2018, had announced their pregnancy earlier this year. They are embracing a traditional parenting style, opting to care for their newborn themselves without hiring a nanny, similar to other celebrity parents.

Deepika plans to take maternity leave until March 2025, after which she will return to the screen in the highly anticipated sequel to Kalki 2898 AD, alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas. Ranveer Singh is also preparing for upcoming projects like Singham Again and Don 3.

As the couple navigates their new roles as parents, they have been receiving visits from friends and family, including Shah Rukh Khan and the Ambani family. While fans are eager to see their baby girl, it remains uncertain when they will introduce her to the public.
