In Daska, Zahra Qadeer, a seven-month pregnant woman, was allegedly murdered by her in-laws. Her father, Shabbir Ahmed, a police inspector, revealed that her body was dismembered into 25 pieces before being disposed of in sewerage drains. The 31-year-old woman, who had one child, was married to Qadeer, who works abroad and has not been contacted by authorities.
Police arrested four suspects, including Sughra Bibi, her daughter Yasmeen, and two male relatives. The suspects reportedly smothered Zahra with a pillow, dismembered her body with knives and a meat cleaver, and burned her head to prevent identification.
