Chief of the Army Staff, General Syed Asim Munir, emphasized the critical significance of maintaining combat readiness and mental agility to effectively counteract a ‘multi-spectral threat paradigm,’ as conveyed in a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Tuesday.
The army chief conducted a visit to a Corps Level Collective Training exercise hosted by a Strike Corps based in Mangla. The primary objective of the exercise is to validate offensive operational concepts, with General Munir observing a remarkable exhibition of intricate maneuvers led by an Armoured formation equipped with cutting-edge VT-4 tanks, as reported by the ISPR.

During the course of his visit, General Asim reiterated the importance of realistic, mission-oriented training in peacetime, asserting that such training is instrumental in ensuring operational excellence on the battlefield in the event of necessity.

Furthermore, General Asim took the opportunity to meet with the troops actively participating in the maneuvers, commending their professionalism and operational efficiency. Upon his arrival, the army chief was formally received by the commander of Mangla Corps.
