Caretaker PM Kakar Heads To US For UNGA Session

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]ISLAMABAD – Interim Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar is preparing to travel to New York to attend the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

Mr. Kakar is poised to become the first interim prime minister to represent Pakistan at the United Nations General Assembly.

The 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly is scheduled to convene in New York from September 18 to 23. During this session, PM Kakar will partake in the high-level debate. Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani and another minister will also accompany the premier on this visit.

While at the UN, PM Kakar will engage in discussions on various pressing global issues and share Islamabad’s perspectives on the current global landscape during his speech.
