Additional Information: On October 23, the Islamabad High Court granted her post-arrest bail in exchange for a surety bond of Rs1 million. Yousafzai noted that Bushra will undergo further medical examinations for her condition. Since her release, she has refrained from participating in any political discussions, as stated by her spokesperson.
After her release, the 50-year-old spiritual leader was relocated to the Chief Minister House in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where she currently resides. Bushra Bibi had been arrested on January 31 after a local court sentenced her and her husband to 14 years in prison related to the Toshakhana case. This recent health diagnosis presents another hurdle for her as she manages her well-being and the ongoing legal challenges involving her and Imran Khan.
