[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the chairman of the PPP, disputed on Monday that there was a “political difference” between his party and the PML-N, expressing his hope that both parties’ political platforms would be carried out in accordance with the Charter of Democracy.
The divisions between the two parties became apparent after the Bhutto dynasty’s scion accused the current coalition government of disregarding the provinces that suffered the most from last year’s devastating floods in the proposed budget during a public gathering in Swat on Saturday.
He added that “if Muslim League [PML-N] wants the PPP to vote for this budget then it must first allocate funds for flood reconstruction.” “The budget for fiscal 2023-24 contains little of the PPP’s input,” he stated.
A day later, in response to Bilawal, senior PML-N leader Ahsan emphasised that all disagreements between the coalition’s members should be resolved at cabinet meetings rather than during rallies.
“Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has consistently prioritised the coalition partners over his own party members and found solutions to their problems. Pakistan cannot afford for its citizens to engage in open shooting matches with one another.

Speaking to the media after Karachi’s mayor and deputy mayor took their oaths of office, the PPP chairman insisted that there was no political difference between his party and the PML-N.
There won’t be any personal opposition, he stressed, even though there may be policy differences with the PML-N.
Bilawal expressed the wish that, under the direction of newly elected Mayor Murtaza Wahab, Karachi would have the best local government system.
He asked Jamaat-e-Islami, the PPP’s opponent in the race for mayor, to cooperate with other political forces while charging that it was attempting to “take over” Karachi in tandem with the PTI.
The PPP chairman remarked that the party’s sacrifices were immeasurable and promised to show its mettle to those who had accused it of rigging the mayor race.
In the hopes that money would be set aside for flood victims, he said that the party delegation would meet with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif once more.
Over 33 million people were devastated by unprecedented flash floods brought on by historic monsoon rains last year, mostly in Sindh, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan, where at least 1,000 people died.
According to Bilawal, the PPP would shortly offer its election campaign platform to the public.
In the next elections, he insisted that the PPP be allowed a “level playing field.”
The PPP chairman apologised for the tragedy on the Greek boat and promised to take tough measures against people traffickers.
