[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has declared that it will be closed on Friday, September 29, 2023, in observance of Eid Milad Un Nabi. This announcement was made through a circular released today by the central bank.
Commercial banks will also be closed on this day. Additionally, the Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX) has previously communicated that it will be closed on the same day.

In accordance with this, the PSX notification stated, “All TRE Certificate Holders, Staff, and concerned parties are hereby informed that the Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited will remain closed on Friday, September 29, 2023, on account of the 12th Rabi ul Awwal Eid Milad un Nabi.”
Each year, Muslims worldwide commemorate the birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) on the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal, which is locally recognized as Eid Milad-un-Nabi.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
