Balochistan District Vice Chairman Arrested Over Theft of Ramadan Packages

A senior official in Balochistan, District Vice Chairman Wadera Ghazi Khan Marri, was arrested along with seven others for allegedly stealing the Chief Minister Balochistan’s Ramadan ration package.

Police said the accused were caught red-handed while attempting to misappropriate relief goods meant for distribution among low-income families during the holy month of Ramadan. The stolen supplies were found loaded in two vehicles at the time of the raid. Authorities confiscated the goods and took the suspects into custody.

The Balochistan provincial government initiated the Ramadan ration program to support underprivileged families. It provides essential food items to those in need during the fasting month. Officials stressed that such thefts undermine the purpose of these relief efforts.
