As stated by the Balochistan chief minister’s office, “The government of Balochistan has taken on the responsibility of covering the educational costs and sponsorship for 11 students from Palestine and Gaza currently studying at Bolan Medical College.”

The medical college is situated in Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan.

The statement further explains, “Due to financial challenges and communication issues with their families, all [Palestinian] students will receive full educational support from the provincial government.”

The Palestinian diplomatic mission in Pakistan reports that there are currently more than 300 Palestinian students enrolled in various Pakistani universities, with 50 in Sindh’s public educational institutions.

Over the years, more than fifty thousand Palestinian nationals have graduated from Pakistani universities.
