On Saturday, police clashed with PTI activists as Imran Khan’s convoy approached the Federal Judicial Complex (FJC) ahead of his appearance before the district and sessions courts in the Toshakhana case.
Previously, a report on the damage caused by the riots outside the FJC was prepared, detailing damage to government property and injuries to law enforcement personnel.
Hundreds of officials, including Islamabad Police officers and FC personnel, were injured during the riots, according to the report. The majority of those injured were injured by sticks on their limbs, while others were affected by tear gas.
SSP Operations of the Islamabad Police Malik Jamil was also among the officers injured. Jamil was allegedly injured as a result of stone pelting by PTI workers.
According to the report, the PTI employees also caused damage to vehicles and government property.
On Tuesday, Islamabad police arrested 198 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf members for alleged vandalism, attacks on police, and property damage.
