Pakistan’s Tekken icon, Arslan Ash, reinforced his global dominance by winning his sixth Evolution Championship Series (EVO) title in Las Vegas, completing a flawless run to once again lift the trophy.
In a thrilling all-Pakistan Grand Final, Arslan defeated rising star Atif Butt with a 3-1 comeback victory, after initially losing the first set. Representing Twisted Minds, Arslan earned $12,000 in prize money and 800 tour points, further strengthening his legacy as one of the greatest players in fighting game history.
Both Arslan and Atif delivered standout performances at EVO 2025, eliminating top international competitors to secure their spots in the final showdown. Arslan advanced through the upper bracket, while Atif showed resilience in fighting his way through the lower bracket.
Their faceoff underscored Pakistan’s dominance in Tekken, with exceptional skill and strategy on full display.
Japan’s chikurin secured third place with a $4,500 prize, followed by Mulgold of South Korea in fourth, earning $3,000. Other top-eight finishers included LowHigh, JDCR, NOBI, and Meo-IL, who shared the $30,000 prize pool.
EVO 2025 marked another major achievement for Pakistani esports, highlighting the country’s sustained excellence in competitive Tekken.
