The latest iOS 26 beta 6 brings six new ringtones, Camera app swipe controls restored to their original behaviour, interface tweaks, and faster app performance.
Released Tuesday alongside updates for iPadOS, watchOS, tvOS, and macOS, the beta focuses on subtle refinements ahead of its expected September public launch, according to TechCrunch.
Among the new ringtones—based on the classic “Reflection” tone—“Dreamer” has received the most attention from early testers.
The update also enhances Apple’s “Liquid Glass” interface with richer colour effects in tabs, more depth on the Lock Screen, and improved toggle animations. Users will also see a refreshed onboarding process showcasing Liquid Glass, updated icons, and redesigned layouts in native apps.
