[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]As anticipated by earlier leaks, Apple has introduced new hardware through a press release, bypassing a traditional media event. The focus of this release is on the latest MacBook Air laptops featuring the M3 chip, a significant development for Apple given the global popularity of the 13″ MacBook Air, renowned as the world’s best-selling laptop, and the 15″ MacBook Air, recognized as the top-selling 15″ laptop globally.
Adhering to its customary approach, Apple refrains from comparing the new hardware directly to the immediate previous generation, opting instead to compare it to an earlier iteration. According to Apple, the M3 MacBook Air boasts a remarkable performance boost, claiming to be up to 60% faster than the M1 and up to 13 times faster than the fastest Intel-powered MacBook released almost half a decade ago.

The Retina Display is highlighted as a key feature, offering up to 2 times the resolution of comparable PC laptops, with brightness levels reaching up to 500 nits and support for 1 billion colors. Notably, it can operate with up to two external screens even when the lid is closed, and the battery life extends up to 18 hours.
Additional features encompass Wi-Fi 6E support, two Thunderbolt ports for enhanced transfer speeds, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a 1080p webcam, a three-microphone setup, and speakers equipped with Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos. The inclusion of TouchID ensures swift and secure unlocks.
The M3 MacBook Air will be available in four colors: midnight, starlight, space gray, and silver. Apple emphasizes that the midnight color incorporates an anodization seal to minimize fingerprints.
Pricing details reveal a starting price of $1099 for the 13″ model and $1299 for the 15″ variant. These laptops are scheduled to be available in 28 countries starting March 8th.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
