Apple is reportedly preparing to break its long-standing annual iPhone launch cycle.
According to new reports, the company will skip the release of the standard iPhone 18 in 2026, offering only the iPhone 18 Pro models that year. The remaining models — the regular iPhone 18, iPhone 18 Air, and iPhone 18e — are expected to arrive between March and May 2027. Apple aims to ease employee workload while boosting long-term revenue with this shift.
The reports also claim that Apple plans to unveil its first foldable iPhone in 2026, marking one of the company’s most significant product launches in years. Rumors suggest it will feature an under-display camera, a book-style design, a durable flexible OLED panel, and a high-capacity battery.
Although pricing isn’t finalized, early estimates place it between $2,100 and $2,500. The foldable device is expected to measure around 7.9 to 8.3 inches when unfolded and come equipped with a powerful processor and advanced camera system.
