Another Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight attendant, Mohsin Raza, has gone missing in Canada. Raza, hailing from Islamabad, was last reported in Toronto and was scheduled to report for duty on flight PK 784 from Karachi on October 13. His absence was noted when he failed to return to the hotel in time for the flight.
In the past year, over twelve PIA crew members have reportedly disappeared in Toronto, raising concerns about the effectiveness of PIA’s policy that requires crew members to submit their passports to authorities while in Canada.

A PIA spokesperson confirmed that an investigation is underway regarding Raza’s disappearance, and if found responsible, he could face strict disciplinary action, including termination. Earlier this year, in June, another flight attendant, Noor Sher, went missing in similar circumstances after arriving in Toronto on flight PK 781. It has been reported that some missing attendants may have applied for asylum in Canada.
